Copper Cloud ("Copper Cloud," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through thecoppercloud.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you provide directly: When you submit a contact form, request the Friction Audit, or book the Three Things Call, we collect your name, email address, and any message or details you choose to share.
• Newsletter signup: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
• Scheduling information: If you book a call through Calendly, information you provide to schedule that call, such as your name, email, and time zone, is collected and processed by Calendly on our behalf.
• Automatically collected information: Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Site, including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and general usage data, typically through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to enquiries and requests for the Friction Audit or a consultation
• Schedule and manage calls and meetings
• Send newsletters and marketing communications, if you have opted in
• Improve the Site and understand how visitors use it
• Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages visitors find useful, and Google advertising cookies to measure the performance of any advertising we run. These set cookies containing a randomly generated identifier and record information such as the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and the site or search that referred you.

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, no analytics or advertising cookies are set until you accept them.

If you are visiting from anywhere else, these cookies are set when you arrive. A notice appears on your first visit explaining this and offering a one-click decline. If you decline, collection stops immediately and no further information about your visit is recorded. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings.

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function are always set. Disabling cookies through your browser may stop parts of the Site from working properly.

5. Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party providers to operate the Site and our business. Because your browser connects to some of them directly, those providers receive your IP address and basic technical information about your device whenever you visit:

• Webflow — website hosting, content delivery, and forms. Contact and newsletter submissions made on the Site are stored by Webflow on our behalf.
• Google — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, used for site analytics, tag management, and advertising measurement, subject to the cookie choice described above. Google processes this information in accordance with its own privacy policy and may use it for its own purposes as permitted by its terms.
• Calendly — scheduling. Calendly's widget loads on every page of the Site. If you book a call, the name, email address, time zone, and any answers you provide are collected and processed by Calendly on our behalf.
• unpkg — a public content delivery network that serves one open-source script used for page scrolling.

Other than Google, as described above, these providers process personal information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are not permitted to use it for their own independent purposes.

6. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

• With service providers who help us operate the Site and our business, as described above
• If required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Copper Cloud, our clients, or others
• In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections

7. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Newsletter subscriber information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

8. Your rights

Copper Cloud is based in Ontario, Canada, and personal information collected through the Site is handled in accordance with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law. Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions
• Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us directly

9. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons.
